How to cook kambuse is easy. First, the corn seeds are put in a pan of water. Pans are taken on a fire. After boiling water, then added calcium. When cooking, corn must be stirred frequently.
Addition of calcium to remove the epidermis of corn seeds. Makes it crunchy. Corn is cooked when it's white and soft. The pan is lifted from the furnace and the water is drained. Wait until it's cold.
Then the corn seeds are washed with water to remove lime. Kambuse that is clean is immediately eaten. Kambuse is one of the main foods of the Muna community. Kambuse is eaten with grilled fish, salted fish and vegetables.
The taste of Kambuse is delicious, the texture is hard. Can be given like eating snacks. If you come to Muna, feel welcome. Kambuse is not sold on the market. Kambuse can only be found in the homes of Muna people.
