Buton Regent Umar Samiun Confessing There Mafia Buton Asphalt

Southeast Sulawesi News_ Kendari - Buton asphalt during this time can not be developed for domestic purposes as more in exports to China (Tiongkok). It is an irony for the Indonesian nation. Buton regent  Umar Samiun admitted that there is a mafia took advantage of Buton asphalt.

"Indonesia has more than 30 years of oil and asphalt wearing term. While not optimal Buton asphalt product use. It is categorized existing asphalt mafia" said Umar at the Clarion hotel, Kendari (Thursday, 12/03/2015).

Umar said the nation Indonesia has abundant natural resources such as Buton Bitumen. The asphalt has been known worldwide as the best quality asphalt. But Indonesia has to import bitumen from the outside. Many areas in Indonesia to import bitumen from Singapore which has no asphalt mines.

Umar said that currently there Decree (SK) of the ministry that Buton asphalt to be used and has been unsuitable for use in nasioanal level. Moreover, Umar said existing technology found in the nation that Buton asphalt can be used 100%. That is not mixed with oil bitumen.

"Now while preparations. Buton regency government will soon provide asphalt production facility. Production of investment businesses that already have a license" Umar said.

Examples of Buton asphalt in the country, namely Central Java Governor has been using Buton asphalt. Umar said to be modeled Southeast Sulawesi, Central Java. Runway in Central Java already using Buton asphalt in full.
