Asean Economic Community (AEC), Students faced two choices

Southeast Sulawesi News_ Kendari - Asean Economic Community (AEC) will begin in 2015. To address this increase in expertise and skills required for people especially those students to compete in the country and work abroad.

Inspector I Director General of the Ministry of Trade RI Drs. Syafrudin Yahya, MA. explain the role of higher education is to prepare the resources to compete in the ASEAN Economic Community by 2015.

"There are two options want to be academics or students want to get jobs, if he wants to enter the job, then increase the competence, expertise, and skills and should be good at foreign languages," he said, Friday (22/08/2014).

Syafrudin AEC said in later weeks to career opportunities in the ASEAN countries is open, but the field of expertise should be certified and recognized. "To work abroad should be no recognition, for example, already have a diploma of accounting is not automatically able to work because there must be recognition of Asean, which is equivalent certificate," he said.

Syafrudin explain AEC is a form of cooperation among Asean countries are emphasizing in the form of services. "Later free trade in labor services, construction, and other investments." he said.

Syafrudin said AEC free market in 2015, according corridor are free in the sense of the agreed Asean itself. "For example, we've got a lot of accountants, means that we do not release the service entrance.
