Southeast Sulawesi News_ Kendari - Local newspapers in Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) is maximal in reporting on environmental issues. It was based on monitoring of the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) Kendari. This was revealed in the focus group Diskussion on environmental issues in the perspective of the local media in Southeast Sulawesi.

Event coordinator La Ode Pandi Sartiman said that the local media should be developed at the moment is the ability of journalists to delve deeply about environmental issues. Institutions AJI hopes in the future journalists may be committed to raising the issue of the environment, not only the surface but deeper.

Four local newspapers were monitored, namely Kendari Pos, Rakyat Sultra, Berita Kota Kendari, and Bau-Bau Pos. All four already provide content or specific pages environments. only drawback that newspaper reporters who have not been to maximize the environment is provided.
